CUB Robotics Club has taken the necessary initiatives which was established in 2018, by a group of enlightened, enthusiastic professional innovators. The Club is heavily inclined towards promoting global growth and implementation of robotics and automation technology in which a majority portion is associated with academic institutions and research and development. Initially the focus of this club is on Artificial Intelligence, DIY Robots, Drones, Household robots, Humanoid Robots, Industrial Robots, Medical Robots, Military Robots, Sensors, Actuators, Robotics Software, and Space Robots.
CUB Robotics Club aims at making something that has a mind of its own like humans and can do various stuffs that a human can do. It will allow people to expand their knowledge, interest and connection to engineering and science concepts and career through a hands on learning atmosphere
Robotics is the science and technology of robots, their design, manufacture, and application. Robotics requires a working knowledge of electronics, mechanics and software and is usually accompanied by a large working knowledge of many subjects. We know that day is a long way off, but technology is getting better all the time. Robotics, or if we go to a superset of it -Mechatronics is a field that is at the intersection of varied engineering disciplines - Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics as well as Computer Science to name a few. One will learn skills ranging from electronics, mechanics, controls, programming, and even as broad as understanding animal behavior and human psychology. It will be very interesting and exciting for us, the students, to experiment at this intersection on a technical, applied and design level. So by setting up the club we get a chance to apply the knowledge we gain in the classroom through various lectures, in real-world scenarios. In brief, it is an opportunity to apply knowledge creatively, to see how systems interact, both with each other and with the environment. So the aim in starting the Robotics club is to inculcate within ourselves the habit of “thinking technologically ".
I would like to thank everyone to be a part of the CUB Robotics Club. This club provides the students state of art infrastructure together with the opportunities to excel in the practical fields. Being well aware of rapid advancements in these disciplines the students are trained with latest skills and competencies required to fulfil the emerging demands of the scientific and industrial communities. The students are engaged in constructive club activities to help them become a productive and healthy part of our society. The commitment of this club is to contribute heavily towards a better nation.
