School of Science & Engineering

The School of Science and Engineering provides industry relevant education to transform well qualified students into highly competent professionals. This School offers two programs: Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE). The CSE department offers undergraduate programs with a focus on developing skills for IT industries worldwide. The curriculum is designed to equip the 21st century students with advanced technological skills that are required to become an accomplished IT leaders and specialists. Our specialties include(not limited to) Software, Hardware, Database, Algorithm Analysis, Networking, Computer Graphics & Image Processing, Artificial Intelligence & Robotics, System Analysis Design & Development, etc. On the other hand the EEE department introduces students to the fast evolving field of electronic innovation to make human tasks easier. The EEE program involves the study of Electronics, Signal Processing, Control Engineering, Computer Science and Telecommunication Engineering. Research and practical application is an important element of EEE. Canadian University of Bangladesh provides students with the latest equipment in hardware that enable students to practice what they learn in the classroom and apply it in a controlled setting.

B.Sc. in CSE (Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering)

The aim of this program (Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering) is to transform well qualified students to highly competent professionals having the potential of becoming a future leader in their field. Canadian University of Bangladesh has been offering an undergraduate program in CSE with the focus on developing skills for ICT industries worldwide. The curriculum is designed to equip the 21st century students with the skills that is required to become an accomplished IT specialist. The program is designed for a wide range of students, including those who wish to pursue a career in software engineering, computer programming, or related areas, and also those who wish to move on to study for higher degrees in the computing and information technology areas, either at home or abroad.

B.Sc. in EEE (Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering)

Electrical and Electronic Engineering is an area whose subjects have been changing at a tremendous rate as society evolves. Our goal is to provide well educated and skilled engineers who will be fully devoted to the core technical aspects of engineering. Courses include basic science, mathematics, laboratory experience and training for the use of modern equipment for measurement and design. Opportunities under the EEE department includes design and operation in electrical power generation, transmission & distribution; maintenance of electrical machines- motors, generators, switchgears and helping students become familiar with telecommunication, satellite and radio systems. The department has laboratories with cutting edge infrastructure and facilities. We expect students will learn to apply their knowledge in Electronics to think more methodically and provide solutions for problems.
