Canadian University of Bangladesh is one of the promising Bangladeshi universities following North American academic standards. To achieve vision to provide global-standard education at affordable cost, it is imparting education by following tutorial-based education systems and case-based teaching-learning methods.
It is true that without the collaboration of local and international industries, governments, communities and educational institutions, a university cannot provide quality education. Hence, Canadian University of Bangladesh adopted outcome-based teaching-learning methods with the active partnership of local and international academia and industrial units.
Now-a-days, higher education system is ICT based where the key resource is knowledge. Our challenge is to generate ideas that will benefit society and help educating and training people to work in the fields where they will be valued both for their specialized knowledge and the abilities to conduct research, communicate, and solve real-life problems. To meet these challenges, we need to build alliances and establish partnerships with the universities, business houses, governments, and other research institutions.
As a Pro-Vice Chancellor, I am confident that the efforts to excel in the field of higher education and the inculcation of moral values among our students at Canadian University of Bangladesh will continue in future. I, therefore, invite our students to be the part of this effort led by Canadian University of Bangladesh and become the stars in the days to come.
